This week we have been doing lots of things!
In Maths we have moved on from fractions to decimals, in particular rounding decimals to the nearest whole number and tenth.
In Literacy we have started learning about Phillipe Petit who crossed the Twin Towers by tight rope. We have written pretend letters persuading him to not do it. Are 5CV’s letters good enough to convince Mr Petit to not tight rope walk between the towers?
Moving on to Art, we have been extremely busy making Egyptian masks, we can’t wait for you to see them! We have also been finishing off our portraits which our now completed!
Next week in 5CV
Maths – multiplying and dividing decimals by 10, 100 and 1,000
English – writing a recount of walking between the Twin Towers as Phillipe Petit
Project – we will be starting our climate change project
Have a lovely weekend!
