A great fun way to end this half term with some dragon boat racing as part of the Mandarin lesson.
These are a selection of persuasive letters that the class have been writing to try and persuade Donald Trump to do something about climate change. We will be tweeting them to him tomorrow!
Another reminder, if you could make sure your child brings in a water bottle and sun hat as this week is set to be a scorcher!!
Thanks so much!
If you haven’t bought your permission slip back for the trip on 12th June please can you return it by the end of this week along with the payment of £35 to the office.
Last week, was media week and all of Year 6 created their own vidoes that linked to one of the 100 books. They then created QR codes and stuck them up around the school. We had loads of fun finding them on Friday afternoon and watching all the fantastic stories they created.
On the 27th February, we launched Readathon for World Book Week. The children were very excited and began reading avidly; with the competition between the classes heating up, it was decided to run the sponsorship over the Easter Holidays.
Readathon has now finished and we are asking that any sponsorship money be brought into school by Friday 12th May. If you have lost your sponsorship card, please visit the office or the Library Bus where you will be able to collect a new one.
This morning we had a go at making our own 3d shapes by drawing nets and then folding the net in to the shape! It was great fun!
