  • KS2 children will arrive at the field for a picnic lunch at 12 noon,
  • KS2 races commence at 1pm.

Please ensure that your child comes into school in their PE kit and brings a water bottle.

Parents and carers are welcome to take their children home straight from the field however you must sign your child out with me first.

Drama performance !

On Thursday we had a group of university students in from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama to perform a children’s show for the whole of Year 5. Year 5 were mesmerized and sat for over an hour, listening to the stories and songs that the students performed.

Your school needs you!

Know a school in need of new books? Nominate them to win £5,000 of National Book Tokens in our free prize draw! And just in case that warm, fuzzy feeling isn’t enough, if your entry is picked, you’ll also get £100 of National Book Tokens to spend on yourself.

The winners of last year’s prize – Camperdown Primary School in Dundee – transformed their library and filled their bookshelves with new books. Give a school near you a new library this year!

We had such a fabulous trip on Monday to Hillingdon Outdoor Activity Centre. Year 5 were such pleasant company and all the staff at the centre were singing their praises. We did so many fun activities from low rope walking to caving, from the big swing to a bunch of team building activities. We hope you all had fun!

HOAC Trip info

Dear Parents

Here is a little more information about the HOAC trip next Monday 12 June.

Packed Lunch: Please ensure your child has a healthy lunch and some snacks but no sweets or nuts. Also a water bottle but no fizzy drinks or juice.

Travel: If your child is someone who suffers with travel sickness please make sure you let me know and give them some travel sickness medicine in the morning. Also we are only allowing each child to bring one book with them on the coach. This means no electronic devices and no games.

Clothing: Your child needs to have long trousers and a long sleeved t-shirt on that they don’t mind getting dirty. They do not need to wear school uniform as we will not be getting off the coach at any point on the journey. They will need to wear trainers and bring a waterproof jacket.

We will meet inside the classroom at 7:30am on Monday and will return at 5:30pm.
