Dear Parents and Carers
I sent a letter home today inviting you in to the classroom on Thursday 13 July instead of the planned date of Friday 14 July.
I do hope you can make it.
Mrs Vincett
Call them crazy but starting at midnight on the 15th July, Miss Atkins, Mrs Boothroyd, Mr Criddle, Mrs Salmon and Mr Brokensha will be walking 40 miles along the South Downs Way to raise money for Action Medical Research. This is a charity that funds research into diseases that affect children. They will be ably supported in their endeavour by their driver, Dave – Rosendale’s premises officer – who will hopefully have them back in time for work on the Monday!

If you haven’t yet returned your form with the payment of £6 please can you do so before the end of the day on Wednesday.
Thanks so much.

Dear Parents
A letter has gone home today about a music recording I am planning to do with 5CV. Please can you ensure your child gives you the letter and you return it as soon as possible as I am planning to do the recording quite soon.
Thank you so much!
SPORTS DAY
Sports Day is taking place on Friday at the Rosendale Road Playing Field. A reminder of the timings:
,
Please ensure that your child comes into school in their PE kit and brings a water bottle.
A reminder that everyone is having a picnic lunch on the field. Harrisons will provide a packed lunch to all those who normally have a school lunch. Packed lunch children should bring their lunch as normal. I really hope that you are able to join us at the field.
Parents and carers are welcome to take their children home straight from the field however you must sign your child out with me first.
On Thursday we had a group of university students in from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama to perform a children’s show for the whole of Year 5. Year 5 were mesmerized and sat for over an hour, listening to the stories and songs that the students performed.
